1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QR Generator's QR code generation API and related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Service Description

QR Generator provides:

An API to generate QR codes from text, links, or other data you submit
Support for generating real, scannable UPI payment QR codes from a UPI ID you provide
Developer account and API token management
Usage reporting and analytics

We are a QR-generation utility. We do not process, hold, or settle payments ourselves — any UPI QR code we generate simply encodes the payment details you supply, exactly as any standard UPI QR would.

3. Account Registration

To use our Services, you must:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Be at least 18 years old
Have legal authority to bind your business (for business accounts)
Keep your API token confidential and secure

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API token, and for all activity carried out using them.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Services to:

Generate QR codes that link to illegal content, malware, or phishing pages
Generate QR codes intended to deceive, defraud, or impersonate another person or business
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other security measures
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to abuse the API beyond documented limits
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

You are solely responsible for the content encoded in any QR code you generate through our Services, and for how that QR code is subsequently used or shared.

5. API Usage and Accuracy

Use of the API is subject to:

Rate limits and fair-usage policies as documented
The accuracy of the data you submit — we generate the QR code exactly from the input provided and do not validate whether a submitted UPI ID, link, or text is correct, active, or genuine
Third-party service availability (our QR rendering relies on upstream infrastructure)

QR Generator is not responsible for errors, losses, or misdirected payments caused by incorrect data supplied by you when requesting a QR code.

6. Fees and Charges

Our fee structure includes:

API calls: 0% charges (unless otherwise specified for your plan)
Premium features: As per current pricing on your dashboard

We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days notice.

7. Dispute Resolution

For billing or service disputes:

Contact our support team first with your account and request details
Submit a formal dispute through your QR Generator dashboard within 60 days
Provide all relevant details (dates, amounts, request IDs)
QR Generator will review and make a final determination

8. Liability Limitations

QR Generator's liability is limited to:

Direct damages up to the fees you paid us in the preceding 30 days
Cases of proven negligence on our part

We are not liable for:

How a QR code you generate is used, scanned, or shared after delivery
The accuracy of the underlying data (including UPI IDs) you provide
Third-party actions, failures, or outages
Force majeure events
Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account:

For violation of these Terms, including generating QR codes for prohibited or fraudulent content
Upon regulatory requirement
For prolonged inactivity (12+ months)

You may terminate your account at any time by written notice with 30 days notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our registered office at Delhi, India.

11. Amendments

We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes.
